ALEXANDRA BARR
Alex is a native Floridian born & raised by the ocean in Daytona Beach. She graduated from Florida State University in 2011 with a Bachelors in English Literature and in 2013 with a Masters in Library Science. After graduating and getting married, she settled down in St. Augustine and began a family while pursuing her dream job as a librarian with the St. Johns County Public Library System. When she’s not singing in storytimes and checking out books, you can find her hopping around town with her family. She’s a proud mama to three little boys, born in 2015, 2017, and 2019!
MARGARET PETTY
Margaret was born in New Jersey but has resided in St. Augustine since the tender age of three—although her husband still calls her a tourist (much to her chagrin). She graduated from Florida State University in 2008 with a Bachelors in English Literature (it’s true—she didn’t just copy and paste Alex’s BIO, promise!). After graduating, she taught ESL to students in South Korea (Anyeong-ha-se-yo!), and later obtained a Masters in English, Creative Writing. She loves reading, running, & animals. She is a newly minted foster mama and an embarrassing aunt to 10 nephews and nieces!

Sarah Szymanski Horn
Sarah Szymanski Horn is a native Northeast Floridan. She was born and rasied in Gainesville. She has lived St. Augustine since attending Flagler College from 2007- 2011 and University of St. Augustine from 2012-2013. Sarah has called 7 different rentals (with a grand total of 29 different roommates!) in almost every neighborhood of the city home- before settling down in North City and then on the Island with her husband Andy.
Andy and Sarah have one baby boy named Leo. They also own and operate Hornski's Vinyl Lounge (100 Anastasia Blvd) with Andy's brother, Rob. Sarah is an Occupational Therapist and specializes in supporting autistic kids and teens and picky eaters. Her website is confidentkidssta.com.
Jenn Leonard
Jenn moved to St. Augustine 15 years ago, on her first wedding anniversary. She and her husband share a 14 year old son heading into high school, and two wild pug puppies. With a degree in Screenwriting from University of Miami, she has a background in Sports and Event Marketing, and currently freelances as a social media manager and content creator for local brands and companies. She prides herself on serving her community and holds various board and volunteer positions for her son's school and extracurricular organizations. Jenn loves running, reading, traveling, and exploring. While she identifies as an introvert, she is always happy to jump into a new project or adventure!

Katee Schalau
Katee moved to Florida at three years old and was raised in Ponte Vedra Beach. She graduated from Nease High School and went on to the University of North Florida, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication with a concentration in Public Relations. After graduating UNF, she moved to the Midwest, but longed to return to the sunshine state. In 2019, Katee returned to Florida with her son and settled in St. Augustine. She works fulltime in marketing for an electronics manufacturer based out of California. When she’s not at home working or writing, Katee and her son are usually out and about, exploring and enjoying fresh air and sunshine. She is excited to continue on the St. Augustine Moms team, which combines three of her favorite things: being a mom, writing and St. Augustine.
Megan Williams
Megan was born and raised in Central California and moved to New Smyrna Beach Florida as a teen. After a few visits to Saint Augustine, she knew this was where she wanted to settle and raise a family someday. She moved around the south for college and grad school and ended up back in Florida where she met her firefighter husband and settled with him in Saint Augustine. They live here with their 2 amazing children and 2 dogs. As a personal trainer, Yoga Instructor and fitness professional, she is always looking for ways to be active as a family while exploring our city. She loves helping people find health and happiness. In the little free time she has you can find her in the kitchen baking or reading a good book! She loves connecting with and supporting other women and moms, so say hello!
