The parks in Ponte Vedra are immaculate and beautifully designed for enjoying natural Florida and spending time in nature. Ponte Vedra and Ponte Vedra Beach are often combined together, but these are two very distinct communities separated by the Intracoastal Waterway. Ponte Vedra is growing at breakneck speed as families move into our county for the A rated schools and exceptional amenities. Ponte Vedra includes the master planned community of Nocatee.

Davis Park

This park has a playground, swings, restrooms, 6 baseball fields, 4 softball fields, 3 football fields, 4 soccer fields, a turf field, and 2 dog parks. The playground is small but fun. We visit this park after walking, biking or wildlife viewing at the Nocatee Preserve. This park is great for smaller children to play while older siblings utilize the fields.
Nocatee Community Park
707 Nocatee Center Way, Ponte Vedra, FL 32081
A new and beautifully designed park with 9 multipurpose fields, a picnic and concession pavilion, a playground with three play structures, swings, restrooms, tennis courts, and a dog Park. This play area is fenced making it easy to watch your children as they play. On the third Saturday of each month you can visit the Nocatee Farmers Market with live music and performers from 10-2pm.
Nocatee Greenway Trails
707 Nocatee Center Way, Ponte Vedra, FL 32081
Greenway trails connect the entire Nocatee Community. These trails are open to the public from dawn to dusk each day. The best area to access the paved path is from the Nocatee Community Park. The path is just beyond the fenced playground and goes in a 2 mile loop named Pelican Trail. This is an excellent place to bike, run, or push a stroller. Be aware of golf carts and electric vehicles along the path. This path will take you to all of the neighborhoods in Nocatee as well as the Town Center. You can stop along the path at marked overlooks to view nature and enjoy the scenery.
Nocatee Preserve

This preserve has a 7 mile (out and back) unpaved trail that is ideal for walking, jogging, mountain biking, trail running, bird watching, nature viewing, or horseback riding. A mountain bike trail has been built and is managed by SORBA Jax just off the main trail. There is ample parking for vehicles and horse trailers, as well as restrooms and a shaded picnic table. The trailhead is behind the Ponte Vedra high school, on Davis park road. Be sure to wear bug spray and sunscreen when you visit the preserve. While there at dusk, we heard multiple barred owls calling to each other in a loud and exciting sequence of hoots. A new Kayak launch has just opened at the southernmost end of the trail called the Nocatee Landing. This new area has ample parking and restrooms for those wishing to paddle the Tolomato River or access the south end of the preserve.
Nocatee Community Park

This park has two lighted tennis courts. These courts are new and in excellent condition. The playing area is surrounded by trees with its own parking area, allowing for a more private setting than many other county facilities.
Davis Park

There are four beautiful soccer fields at this park. Three of these fields have lights for play after dark. There are also 3 lighted football fields with 2 that are regulation size. There is one artificial turf field for additional recreation.
Nocatee Community Park

You will find local teams playing soccer in one of nine multipurpose fields at this park during the Fall. There are soccer goals near the open air concession/ restroom area for general public use when not reserved by the local leagues. There are not goalposts at this park. During the winter, flag football is played on these fields by local leagues.

There are 6 baseball fields and 4 softball fields at this park. All fields are lighted. There are two t-ball fields without a fence. All other fields are appropriate for adult play with fences from 200-300 ft. This a beautiful facility for any type of ball player.

This is a beautiful park for those with dogs. Each of the dog parks have a small lake for your furry friends to swim in. The small dog park is just as large as the park for the large dogs. There is a dog washing station if your pet needs a bath before returning home.
Nocatee Community Park – 707 Nocatee Center Way, Ponte Vedra, FL 32081
Trails for Tails is the name of this fun and functional dog park. The park has a nice paved path around a lake for exercise while your pooch plays. There is a dog wash station should your dog need a rinse before going home. This is a beautiful place for an evening walk while your family dog runs free.
Nocatee Paddle Launch – 3004- 3028 County Rd 210, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL 32081
This launch area is good for non motorized water vessels like canoes, stand up paddle boards, and kayaks. There is plenty of parking at this location. Should you need fishing supplies or a snack, you can head over (or under) the Palm Valley Bridge where there is a public boat launch and Palm Valley Outdoors.
Nocatee Landing Paddle Launch – 2015 Nocatee Landing Trail, Nocatee, FL 32081
This area allows access to the Interacoastal waterway with non motorized water vessels. This is a perfect place to launch canoes, kayaks and stand up paddle boards into the Tolomato River. There is also an open-air pavilion, bike racks, a parking area, and solar-powered public restrooms. From Nocatee Parkway, head south on Crosswater Parkway about 3 miles to a roundabout. Take the eastern exit of the roundabout onto Nocatee Landing Trail. The road is paved for 0.7 miles, then continues as a gravel road for another 1.2 miles to the Landing.
